Mission: Our mission is to assist business professionals and organizations in maximizing their productivity by successfully implementing innovative technology solutions and thereby allowing them to focus on what is most important for their success. History: Richard Anderton started Talk It Up Technologies in April 1999. The company began by offering speech recognition training and consulting services. These services expanded to include hardware consulting and sales services for PC Corp. (Calgary) in 2000. In November 2001 Mr. Anderton began the responsibility of managing a team of 5 at PC Corp. to oversee the sales, delivery, and satisfactory installation of PCs to the Calgary Board of Education and their various locations throughout Calgary. This role also included business process development and implementation, strict adherence to customer quality assurance procedures, web development, software license management, and business development. In November 2002 Mr. Anderton began managing the computer training services of Shell Canada for the Infogem Institute of Technology. The contract included covering 5 Major cities and other various Shell locations across the country. This involved scheduling instructors, students, & facilities, ensuring equipment is delivered; set-up on-time; properly configured; resolving problem issues; and ensuring a top quality training experience is delivered to the employees of Shell Canada. At times Richard travelled to various locations across Canada to perform these services and other times he arranged for local instructors to deliver the training according to Shell Canada standards. Looking Forward: To meet the increasing requirements of customers, Talk It Up Technologies was incorporated in September 2002. As the business continues to grow there will be a renewed focus on speech recognition software while maintaining the diversity of I.T. management services. We continue to investigate and develop innovative technology solutions, always keeping our Mission in mind. Our mandate is to assist business professionals to maximize their productivity, and the productivity of their staff. The way we help them do this is by implementing complete innovative technology solutions that include consulting, software, hardware, and training. We will always keep in mind that the ultimate purpose of the technology we implement is to reduce the amount of time people spend on their technology related tasks, and allow people to focus on what is most important for their success.
